Moving a Post to a Different Forum

As your community grows, you may decide that a post should be in a different forum than the one for which it was written. Community Server allows you to move a post from its original forum during moderation or after it has already been published.

Moving a Post During Moderation

1. Open the post that requires moderation. The Posts page displays. 

   

2. Click Move. The following page displays: 

   

3. Select the forum to which you want to move the post in the Move to field.
4. Click Move Thread(s).

Moving a Post from the User Community

1. Navigate to the forum in which the post resides. The list of posts displays in the workspace. 

   

2. Click the checkbox for the post you want to move.
3. Click Move Selected Items. The following page displays.

   

4. Select the forum to which you want to move the post in the Move to field.
5. Click Move Thread(s).
